When I say that I am going to help you “beat your competition into the ground” I know that it sounds a bit intense, but honestly, that is the goal for many sales professionals: to beat your competition. In this video, I give you some ideas and strategies for beating your competition.

- Beating your competition is the goal, once you understand that you are competing with others you will understand the need to become #1 in your space.
- Have a very well-defined customer avatar and focus your marketing like a laser on that avatar.
- Have goals–both short term, mid term and long term.
- Be so creative that you annoy your competitors.
- Focus on constant improvement, every day.
- Do a lot of competitive analysis. Know your competitors and beat them.
- Incorporate speed of implementation.
- Develop at least five lead channels that consistently bring you new business every day.
- Develop sales funnels so that someone can get to know your business at any level.
- Practice perspectiving so that you understand your customer avatar very well.
- Form a business mastermind group.
- Practice writing and speaking every single day.
- Gain as much specialized knowledge as you can within your niche.
I hope that this list of ideas will inspire you to think of new ways to improve your sales and business management. I know that for me it helped to make a list of ways that I could improve my sales techniques and to work on implementing those strategies every day.
