Brand Addiction Strategies for Business Owners – Episode #46

by Richard Wilson on July 6, 2011

In this episode recorded in Madrid, Spain Richard Wilson takes you through what he learned about the process of addiction while studying at Harvard and how you can use that to turn your first time customers into addicted fans who are blown away by the value you deliver to them.  This is one video which will present a few ideas that are guaranteed to be 100% new to you.  (Download this Video in MP4 Format)

Video Transcript/Summary: Here is a summary of the advice provided within this episode:

  1. Provide the most massive surge of value possible to someone just after they get introduced to your brand, AND just after they have spent money with you for the first time.  The earlier you can provide value and the larger that positive experience the more likely your brand is to be addictive to that customer
  2. Be Apple – be an addictive brand that people are drawn too for compelling reasons. Be different in a meaningful way by deeply understanding your customer avatar.
  3. Think about how your customer interacts with you and your team. What would your first impression be of a business such as yours if you were in your customers shoes?

These ideas are based on scientific psycho-pharmacology research that I studied first hand, and these are strategies that have helped me make more  money as a business owner.  I hope this episode helps you make more than $1,000 extra dollars in your business.

Thanks for joining us, and I will see you again soon,
