Business Meeting Management – Episode #88

The following video is borrowed from our platform and was originally recorded for our business management training program.  It is a common misconception in business management that meetings are a waste of time.  I have found that if you structure your business meetings effectively you can avoid wasting time and get a lot of value out of your meetings.  In this video, I share some of my tips and tricks for effective business meeting management.

Video Transcript/Summary: The strategies and tips provided within this video module include:

  1. You can have daily meetings or have a “daily update list”.  The daily update list consists of an excel spreadsheet that each employee uses to make a list of goals for the day. 
  2. The more times you meet, the greater accountability you will have and the better informed you will be as a manager. 
  3. Every meeting should have an agenda, a regular time, and a person tracking all of the action items during the meeting so there is an accountability report. 
  4. Communication with your employees is really important, whether you are meeting every day, once a week or even once a month. 

Effective business meeting management is very important in making sure that you have effective communication and coordination in your business.  The key to efficiency is having a focused structure approach to your meetings.  I hope that this video helps you more effective manage your business meetings.
