There are many ways to make money speaking including recording yourself speaking like I have above and selling a series of videos as a package, speaking at conferences, selling spaces in webinars a piece, holding private corporate training sessions, or holding your own full day training workshop.
This video focuses on how to make $10,000 by speaking at your own live workshop or training seminar. To do this you simply need to charge $497 per seat and get 20 professionals to attend. This is actually a lot easier than it sounds if you have done the hard work to build a blog, write a book, or produce a small series of videos in your industry. Everything is iterative, once you have gained the knowledge to write a tiny blog post you can keep doing that until it adds up to a white paper, e-book, book, webinar, video series, and then live events.
I have held dozens of live events now and the first time I did it I literally couldn’t eat the 3 hours before it started, I was very tense and scared of just flat out bombing it while on stage. Luckily that stress helped ensure that I was well prepared and that I delivered my best advice and it went very well.
