Improve Your Business Management Knowledge – Episode #85

by Richard Wilson on August 1, 2011

The following video is borrowed from our BusinessTraining.com platform and was originally recorded for our business management training program.  In business management, often times your best asset is your knowledge–and growing your management knowledge can open the door to great things including making more money, getting promoted or making your business more successful.  That is why I recorded the following video that explains how you can improve your business management knowledge.

Video Transcript/Summary: The strategies and tips provided within this video module include:

  1. It is incredibly important that throughout your business management career you constantly work at learning new things, putting those lessons in place and learning from that implementation.
  2. One way to grow your management knowledge is to always be experimenting.
  3. Have a one-pager that has all of the lessons on it.  Every time you go to great conference or read a great book, add it to your one-pager.
  4. Another tip is to use commuter education systems.  These can be in various convenient forms from audio mp3 files to small sales books.
  5. Go through books as if they were written for you and you are getting that author to provide you with his or her consulting services.
  6. Form a business mastermind group.

The chances are the business that you are working on is knowledge-centric and knowledge therefore is your biggest asset.  So, the faster that you grow your knowledge, the faster you are growing that asset–whether it is through buying books, attending seminars or just reading the newspaper.  I hope this has made you realize just how important it is to improve your business management knowledge.

Thanks for joining us, and I will see you again soon,
