Simulating the Mastermind – Episode #129

by Richard Wilson on August 12, 2011

The following video is borrowed from our BusinessTraining.com platform and was originally recorded for our copywriting training program.  You may be familiar with the mastermind group idea by now but I have found there is also benefit in simulating the mastermind group.  In this video, give you some advice on how you can simulate a mastermind group to help in your copywriting.

Video Transcript/SummaryThe strategies and tips provided within this video module include:

  1. A mastermind group is a diverse group of professionals that gather in-person or over the phone to solve problems and share insights.
  2. Simulating the mastermind means that when you are writing copy you consider the perspectives of every important person that the copy involves or the people at your firm that you can get input from.
  3. Construct a mastermind of five of these people and imagine what these people would advise you on this particular problem.
  4. This allows you to simulate a mastermind group even when you are not able to meet with those people and get several unique perspectives to complement your own.

I hope that this video helps you improve your copywriting by simulating the mastermind group.

Thanks for joining us, and I will see you again soon,
