Public Relations Mastermind Simulation – Episode #165

by Richard Wilson on August 21, 2011

The following video is borrowed from our BusinessTraining.com platform and was originally recorded for our public relations training program.   A mastermind group is a collection of roughly five like-minded business professionals who meet regularly to share ideas and solve issues in their business.  In this video, you will see how simulating a mastermind group can help improve your public relations.

Video Transcript/SummaryThe strategies and tips provided within this video module include:

  1. Often people do not have time to join a mastermind group.
  2. To address this, you can simulate a mastermind group for your public relations.
  3. As a public relations professional, imagine who would be in your ideal mastermind group such as a boss, mentor, client, etc.
  4. Write down all the advice that you think that person would give you if you were sitting down talking with them in a mastermind session.
I have found the mastermind simulation exercise to be hugely beneficial in my own business and it can be effectively applied to public relations as well.  I hope that this exercise allows you to benefit from other people’s perspectives and solve your public relations problems more quickly and efficiently.

Thanks for joining us, and I will see you again soon,
