Voice-Mail Template – Episode #110

by Richard Wilson on August 7, 2011

The following video is borrowed from our BusinessTraining.com platform and was originally recorded for our sales training program.   Incoming calls to your business often include some of the same questions or concerns.  A voice-mail template can help you put together a great reply to your prospect.  In this video, I offer some tips for using a voice-mail template in your business.

Video Transcript/Summary: The strategies and tips provided within this video module include:

  1. Even the most experienced sales professional can forget an important detail while talking on the phone, so I recommend developing a voice-mail template that can help guide you through your phone calls.
  2. Everyone on your team should have a script for the first and last sentence of a phone call.  The first and last sentences are incredibly important.
  3. Make sure the end to your call is well-optimized to include the most important things for your prospect to know.
  4. Recommend that the prospect visits your frequently asked questions page to save time responding to the same question over and over.

A voice-mail template can dramatically improve your business and make your sales calls much better.  I hope that this tip really helps you and your team complete sales calls more effectively.

Thanks for joining us, and I will see you again soon,
